THE GREAT PLANNER GETAWAY


Thank you for your interest in The Great Planner Getaway, presented by The Planners Department. These Terms & Conditions govern your attendance and participation in our event. By purchasing a ticket or booking a stall, you agree to comply with these terms.

1. EVENT REGISTRATION

1.1 Ticket Availability

All tickets and stall bookings for The Great Planner Getaway are offered on a first-come, first-served basis. The Planners Department cannot guarantee availability.

1.2 Age Requirement

The Great Planner Getaway is exclusively for adults. All attendees must be 18 years or older. Valid identification may be required at entry, and anyone under 18 will be refused admission without refund.

1.3 Late Registrations

Late registrations may be accepted subject to ticket availability and require immediate payment in full.

2. PAYMENT TERMS

2.1 Full Payment Option

Tickets may be purchased with a single full payment through our website. You will receive a confirmation email upon successful payment.

2.2 Instalment Plan

We offer a 3-instalment payment plan structured as follows:

  • Initial payment: Due at checkout

  • Second payment: Due by 30th June 2025 (11:59pm BST) by bank transfer

  • Final payment: Due by 30th September 2025 (11:59pm BST) by bank transfer

Each instalment amounts to £50. Failure to make any payment by the specified deadline will result in your ticket being voided with no refund of previous payments.

3. CANCELLATION & TRANSFER POLICIES

3.1 Ticket Cancellation

All ticket payments are non-refundable. The only exception is if your ticket can be resold through our official resale list, which will only open after all original tickets have been sold. To be eligible for the resale list, your ticket must be fully paid.

3.2 Ticket Transfers

Private transfers or reselling of tickets is strictly prohibited. Tickets may only be transferred through our official resale list managed by The Planners Department. Any person attempting to enter the event with a ticket registered under a different name will be denied entry without refund.

3.3 Stallholder Cancellations

Stallholders are subject to the same resale policy as ticket holders. Refunds will only be issued if the stall and associated ticket can be filled through our official resale list.

4. MEDIA CAPTURE & USAGE

4.1 Event Photography & Recording

The Planners Department will capture photographs and video footage throughout the event for marketing and promotional purposes. By attending, you grant permission for your image to be captured and used in these materials.

4.2 Attendee Recording

Other attendees may also be recording during the event. If you have privacy concerns, please contact our event staff on site.

5. COMPETITIONS

5.1 Participation Terms

We may host competitions before, during, or after the event. By entering, you agree to:

  • Be contacted via social media for prize coordination

  • Respond within 48 hours of notification (or forfeit your prize)

  • Accept that prizes cannot be exchanged, transferred, or redeemed for cash

5.2 Winner Selection

All competition decisions made by The Planners Department are final. We reserve the right to substitute prizes with alternatives of similar value if necessary.

5.3 Platform Disclaimer

Social media platforms used for competitions are not affiliated with or sponsors of our competitions.

6. SPECIAL ACCOMMODATIONS

We strive to make The Great Planner Getaway accessible to all attendees. If you have specific accessibility, dietary, or other requirements, please inform us when purchasing your ticket or contact us directly. We will make reasonable efforts to accommodate your needs.

7. EVENT MODIFICATIONS

The Planners Department reserves the right to modify any aspect of the event, including but not limited to:

  • Schedule and programming

  • Workshop content and presenters

  • Stallholder lineup

  • Venue details

  • Event date and times

Such changes may occur after publication due to circumstances beyond our control.

8. LIABILITY LIMITATIONS

8.1 Personal Safety

The Planners Department is not responsible for accidents, injuries, or personal property loss occurring during the event unless directly caused by our negligence.

8.2 Content Usage

Information, techniques, and materials presented at the event are for attendees' personal use. The Planners Department accepts no responsibility for how attendees may apply this content.

8.3 Intellectual Property

Copyright for all presentation materials belongs to the respective presenters. The Planners Department cannot be held liable for any misuse, plagiarism, or infringement related to these materials.

8.4 Travel & Accommodation

Attendees are solely responsible for their travel and accommodation arrangements. The Planners Department will not reimburse any travel or accommodation expenses in the event of postponement or cancellation.

8.5 Refunds for Event Cancellation

If The Great Planner Getaway is cancelled by The Planners Department, all payments received will be refunded in full.

8.6 Force Majeure

The Planners Department shall not be liable for failure to perform its obligations due to circumstances beyond reasonable control, including but not limited to:

  • Extreme weather events

  • Natural disasters

  • Public health emergencies

  • Civil unrest or terrorism

  • Government restrictions

  • Industrial action

  • Venue unavailability
